I had been on a pub crawl, and on the way to the Guide Dog I started blathering on about how there’s so many bands, and everyone’s in a band, and anyone can do a band. I was probably feeling a bit nostalgic for the band I used to be in, who hadn’t done much for ages. Not that we did much at the time really. But these days there are bands coming out your ears, and they’re all so very good!

Basically, I decided there’s no point waiting for the rest of the old band to get their shit together and do some music, I should just get on and do it myself. So I said (out loud, unfortunately) that I was going to do a band with just me, and it would be called The Grim. And the first album would be called It Makes Us Sad. So there. That would show them.
